Alternative Day School
Milwaukee Academy provides a comprehensive educational program. This program is designed to meet the special needs of adolescents who have been unable to achieve academically in other settings.
All residents entering the Milwaukee Academy educational program receive a formal educational assessment by a classroom teacher. Their academic plan is individualized to meet each resident's academic and therapeutic needs.
Educational Services:
Students participate in individualized academic instruction designed to meet their needs and abilities in general subject areas. Supplementary instruction is provided to all students in the following areas:
- Social Skills
- Title I Reading and Math
- Physical Education
- Art
- Consumer Education
- Independent Living
