Academy Programs & Services

Treatment

Clinicare facilities are among the most clinically advanced in the Midwest. Our staff is well-versed in the unique and complex needs presented by our youth. Our programs are constantly assessed to ensure they provide effective and innovative treatment modalities.

Education

As part of our multi-faceted approach to treatment, Clinicare incorporates a wide variety of learning opportunities in both classroom and living unit settings. In addition, each Clinicare program features a unique self-contained education component taught by instructors certified by the Wisconsin, Minnesota, and South Dakota Departments of Public Instruction.

Transition

A significant time for youth and their families is the completion of treatment and the transition back into their home community. As part of our reunification program, Clinicare maintains contact with our youth for months after they complete treatment. The goal of this contact is to encourage and assist them in their success as well as decrease recidivism.

Through this contact we also obtain outcome information statistics to help us measure success and identify areas we need to improve.

Non-Residential Care Services

To assist with the transition back to the community, or to reduce the need for a residential stay, Clinicare offers two additional services:

Alternative day schools at our Eau Claire site, provide students with highly structured, supportive and safe learning environments where they can acquire the critical academic, behavioral, social and emotional skills that will enable them to be successful in the future.  For more information about Eau Claire Academy day school programming, visit ecadayschool.com .

Respite Care provided at the Eau Claire, and Milwaukee locations can be used proactively or responsively. Short-term respite stays provide a brief intervention to strengthen placements in a family setting. Respite planning is individualized to best serve the needs of the youth.
