Welcome to Wyalusing Academy

Located on seventeen acres in a quiet residential area in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin is the Wyalusing Academy. Overlooking the Mississippi River, the Wyalusing Academy provides residential treatment for male and female children and adolescents who are lower functioning or significantly below grade level.

The Wyalusing Academy is licensed to accept children and adolescents with:

• Emotional Disorders
• Conduct Disorders
• Behavior Disorders
• Mild Mental Retardation/Neurological Impairment
• Aggressive Behavior
• Impaired Social Relationships
• Delinquent Activity
• Sexualized Behaviors

Treatment Goal

The goal of our treatment program at Wyalusing Academy is to successfully reintegrate the adolescent back into his/her own community or future placement. This goal can be achieved through commitment and investment in treatment on the part of the adolescent. Concerned and qualified staff at Wyalusing Academy will assist the adolescent in achieving this goal by providing an individualized treatment program of services.
